Sun City is a census-designated place and unincorporated town within the Phoenix metropolitan area. The population was 37,499 according to the 2010 census. Temperatures in winter tend to average around 55 degrees and in summer, tend to hit the low 90 degree area with annual rainfall barely reaching 9 inches.
